Project Safety Supervisor
Provide technical HSE support to Project and Operations teams on safety, occupational health, and environmental matters across project sites. Ensure all worksites maintain full compliance with company safety policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards. Support the HSE Manager in planning, coordinating, and implementing effective HSE strategies across the project. Ensure a formal risk assessment is completed and approved before the commencement of every task. Perform equipment and facility audits to detect existing or potential hazards; determine corrective and preventive measures and follow up on implementation. Facilitate daily toolbox talks, briefing workers on task-specific hazards and applicable control measures prior to commencement of work. Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and near-miss incidents; compile and close out all Accident Investigation Reports in line with regulatory requirements. Track HSE performance metrics and produce regular reports for the Department Head to support data-driven decision-making. Supervised all site safety activities including issuance of work permits, review and approval of Method Statements and Risk Assessments, and enforcement of safe working methods. Enforced Permit to Work (PTW) requirements for all high-risk tasks including work at height, confined space entry, and hot work.
