Cover Letter

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the Fire Fighter Supervisor position at Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria (SHIN). Holding NEBOSH certification and extensive HSE management experience, I bring the supervisory competence and risk discipline required to lead emergency response within a heavy industrial shipyard environment. My background in hazard identification, HIRA-driven risk assessment, and strict Permit to Work (PTW) enforcement ensures that fire prevention and incident response are integrated into every operational phase.

I have directed incident investigation activities, delivered targeted Toolbox Talks to large workforces, and upheld environmental compliance standards under demanding conditions. I understand the unique fire hazards of welding, fuel handling, and confined-space operations typical in heavy industries, and I am adept at coordinating suppression teams, managing hot-work permits, and ensuring readiness of detection and suppression systems. My leadership style emphasizes accountability, continuous drills, and clear communication across multilingual crews.

I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to SHIN's zero-harm culture and would be glad to discuss my fit for this role at your convenience. My CV is attached for your review.

Sincerely,
Enyuma Godwin Enyuma
